HI ,
Anyone found this unusual name in their searches - Joanhanna / johanna Villa . She Married Thomas Coyle in Londonderry in 1860, they went to live in Scotland 1861 and had 6 Children - Helen,Denis-(My GG/GFather ), Hugh, Mary, Sarah, Henry, Coyle + Thomas(Illgt Villa ) Coyle...I've traced them both and their line on from there right to 1901 ! but getting any info backwards from 1860 is proving very difficult! She was born in Londonderry , but we believe originaly form malta !!Her Father was a merchant Seaman called Lawrence Villa, her mother Ellen (no Maiden name ) ..........Any Villa - Coyles out there ???

Hi i am also researching Johanna Villa who married a Mr Coyle. Im pretty sure its the same person. However his name was Jose Villa . He was a Spanish sea captain who was made to walk the plank with his son by pirates. He died and his son survived. He married Johanna where they emigrated to Scotland and ther children were called Sarah, Ellen (Helen) Mary, Hugh, John, Tommy(Thomas) and Henry Coyle
Ellen Coyle married a Friel
and Mary Coyle married Tom Duffy or vice versa. Im not sure

Hope this helps. Still trying to dig up more info
