Volume of late eighteenth-century copies of Petty's Down Survey maps of the
Counties of Donegal and Londonderry. The copies were made in the 1780s by Daniel
O'Brien, under the direction of the Surveyor-Generals Office. They include both
the maps and the accompanying text, which gives a brief description of each
denomination and a list of the proprietors. The areas covered are: part of the
